Best deal on the Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal vacuum

If you have a decent-sized house, a canister vacuum may be your best bet for keeping it clean. And one of our favorite canister vacuums is the Dyson Big Ball. But how can you get the best deal on the Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal vacuum?

Dyson doesn’t love putting their stuff on sale. Yes, that means that you will generally have to pay full price for any Dyson product. That is, unless you use this trick to get the best deal we have seen. The regular price of the Dyson Big Ball Animal on Amazon is $431 right now. But navigate to this page and then scroll down until you see the bottom of the far right column. You will see a section that says “Buy used.” And if you look at the price there you will see that it is $309.99. That’s over $120 off! Generally these models are perfectly good refurb models. I don’t think you will find a better price on the Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal vacuumanywhere on the internet or in stores.

This is an overall amazing canister vacuum. It has no filters to worry about which is a big plus. It is one of the best vacuums around at trapping dirt and dust thanks to Dyson’s cinetic tip design. It really works! The ball design, while kind of funky looking, actually really makes this one of the most maneuverable vacuums on the market. I’d say that this along with the Dyson V8 Absolute represent the two best vacuums on the market right now.

  • No dirty filters to wash or replace.
  • Dyson CineticTM science captures the dust that clogs other vacuums' filters.
  • Self-adjusting cleaner head. Seals in suction across carpets and hard floors.
  • Wand and hose release in one smooth action, so it's easy to clean up high and under furniture
  • Extra tools for tough tasks and homes with allergens.

  1. Can we used this Dyson big ball vacuum cleaner for hardwood floor or it not suitable for this?

    • If you have a lot of hardwood I would look at a Miele without a brush bar. We have heard of reports that on repeated use the Dyson Big Ball can scratch hardwood with its brush bar. Since it can’t be turned off this is a bit of an issue. There are a lot of Mieles that would do just fine for your purpose.
